Financial Aid
Qualifying for financial aid can be complicated. Fortunately, there are resources and tools to help guide you through this process. The first place we suggest you start with is the Federal Student Aid website. They are an Office of the U.S. Department of Education, and the largest provider of financial aid in the nation. In order to gain access to Federal Student Aid's online systems, you will need to create a FSA ID.
You may also want to visit the PHEAA, (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency), website. PHEAA is a national provider of student financial aid services such as loan guaranty, loan servicing, financial aid processing and other programs. The PHEAA has a division called AES, (American Education Services), who can help you to monitor the financial aid process. You will find links to these agencies and other resources on the right hand side of this page.
We also invite you to watch the playlist of Financial Aid videos below which offer a general overview of the FAFSA process.
Once you have done all of your research and you feel you are ready to apply for aid, you must fill out the FAFSA, (Free Application For Federal Student Aid).
