Cheltenham High School’s core mission is to prepare our students with the knowledge, skills and habits of mind to find success, personally and professionally, in their lives beyond high school.   Every day new discoveries subtly and profoundly change the ways in which we all interact with our world. CHS’s academic, technical, athletic and social science course offerings provide opportunities to evaluate and analyze information and apply it to create new methods to wrestle with the issues of the day.

 

With over 170 course offerings, all aligned to national and state standards, students can explore many areas of interest and further define career goals. In CHS classrooms, teachers utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students in learning. Technological innovations allow teachers to bring the real world into the classroom and encourage small-group, problem-based exploration. The curriculum is differentiated to meet students’ needs. Students interact with timeless texts that have uniquely modern interpretations.
