Cheltenham High School students Kameron McCray and Mia Berg earned a $500 prize for their participation in the Entrepreneur’s Game Plan business plan competition for Collegeship.
Congratulations to Cheltenham/EASTERN students Nia Bonaparte (Allied Health), Jeslyn Oppong (Allied Health) and Sarah Rann (Robotics & Automated Technology) for being the newest inductees into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).
Thirty-seven CHS sophomores, juniors and a senior were inducted into the Black Scholars Program (BSP) on Thursday evening at Cheltenham’s Stretton Hall.
Mrs. Baron’s Room 4 class took a short bus trip up to CHS where the WISE club members taught the concept of gravity, impact and cushion.
Tamir Erwin-Murray’s entrepreneurial journey is rooted in vision, ambition, and resilience. As a junior at Cheltenham High School and a student in the cosmetology program at the EASTERN Center for Arts and Technology, he’s already leaving a mark, not just on his school community, but also on the world of beauty and barbering.
For its second project of the year, PBL9 examined the essential question, “Do you have enough?” and designed wooden and 3-D printed pieces, including book ends, paper towel holders, coasters and a bureau, which were sold at a special event Thursday night in the CHS Library.
After serving in an interim capacity since July 1, Dr. Benjamin Hammond has been named principal at Cheltenham High School (CHS), effective April 9.
More than 40 EASTERN students participated in the state SkillsUSA competition last week at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pa., and more than a few Cheltenham students won medals.
