Metropolitan Ballet Company is proud to announce that Boys’ Scholarship Program student Melecio Amaro, a 14-year-old freshman at Cheltenham High School, has been selected as the winner of the 25-26 Balaurol Prize.

In their latest project, PBL9 students studied the ability to bounce back, asking the essential question, “How does trauma, tragedy and adversity build resilience in individuals and society?”

PBL10 students combined their knowledge of history, English, and chemistry to stage Wednesday’s fourth annual PBL10 Comic Con, which featured student-written comic books, exploration of the hero’s journey, and chemically inspired villains.

CHS senior Leila Jean-Louis is utilizing her work experience through the CHS Diversified Occupations (DO) program as a milker at Merrymead Farm in Lansdale, along with her dual enrollment (DE) credits, to prepare for next year’s transition to college.

CHS sophomore Grace Byard has had the opportunity to collaborate with researchers and graduate students in the health design lab at Thomas Jefferson University for her science project dealing with 3D bioprinting. She first visited the lab Wednesday morning.

Tim Gerhardt ‘97, a prolific middle distance runner for the Cheltenham Panthers, has been elected to the Pennsylvania High School Track & Field Hall of Fame.

CHS World History students had the opportunity to hear from seven second-generation Holocaust survivors on Thursday and Friday, thanks to Lise Marlowe, former EP teacher and current Education Director at the Holocaust Awareness Museum & Education Center.
